2. **Alden Global Capital Venture Capital** owns Digital First Media (56 dailies).
3. **Chatham Asset Management** owns the McClatchy newspapers (30 dailies) and Canada's Post Media.
4. **Gannett Co., Inc. (250 dailies)**.
5. **Hearst** (23 dailies).
6. **Lee Enterprises** (90 dailies).
